REFORM IN SEARCH OF ISRAEL

American Reform Judaism at the outset, in the late 19th century, was ambivalent in terms of any form of Zionism. The 20th century witnessed a 180-degree turn in terms of support of Israel and development of pro-Zionist ideas within our movement. Yet, defining Reform Zionism has continued to be problematic, especially given the realities of politics and religion in the modern Jewish state.

led by Rabbi Herzfeld

Rabbi Herzfeld will continue his classes on Reform In Search of Israel on Wednesday, March 3 to discuss "Miracles" What do we mean by this term and how does it relate to Israel? Do we even believe in miracles?
