As we begin our second term, we look forward with great anticipation to the coming year. We are very proud that our Temple continues to be very active with many well attended programs and events. We encourage you to continue this strong participation as it strengthens our Temple.
There were a couple of goals last year that we hope to continue this year. First was our goal to turn our Temple into a destination for the arts. The other was to join other Temples to share resources to help enrich our programming. We intend to explore doing more of these kinds of events and encourage you to support them.
Finally, as always we look forward to our High Holy Days Services as it gives us a chance to greet you after a long restful summer.
We wish you and your families a happy and healthy New Year.
B’shalom,
Eric & Myron

SELICHOT
The celebration of Selichot will be held on Saturday, September 4th at 8:30 PM., beginning with a short Havdallah ceremony and a film. Refreshments will be served at 9:30 PM and a beautiful Selichot service will follow at 10:00 PM.
Please join us as we screen this film, “The Lost Wooden Synagogues of Eastern Europe”, a documentary produced by Albert Barry in conjunction with Florida Atlantic University, and narrated by renowned actor THEODORE BIKEL. It tells the story of the synagogues, the life that surrounded them before World War II and what has happened to them over the past 65 years.
